Any suggestions for tyre shopping when the time comes, preferably one that wont leave me bleeding. Car has 18's on it, not sure of profile.
Thanks,
Michelin Pilot Sport 4, around $300 each in 18s. They'll redefine what you think a great tire is.

100% agree, don't skimp on tyres , Pilot's are worth every cent.
as stated above, don't skimp on tyres.
what's on the car now ?
there's plenty of choice in the stock 225/40-18 size.
from the michelins (where can you get them for $300ea. ? ) mentioned to more extreme tyres like the nitto nt05, yoko advan ad08r .
all depends on your driving style, requirements and budget.

Hook us up. I'd be keen for a set at that price. :)

some time ago most Michelin tyre dealers were doing a 4 for 3 deal, so the 4th tyre was free

I see they currently have a buy 1 get 1 half price, which is essentially the same thing.

To be frank its my wife's car, haven't picked it up from the dealer yet (getting groomed and wof'd etc) so I don't know what is currently on it, don't think she will divorce me for only putting $250 tyres on. Appreciate great tyres are a good investment though. Just wondering who are good tyre dealers in CHCH that will at least buy me dinner first?
it really depends what the car is used for as well - if its only for daily driving casually to work and back then you won't need pilot sports
I am keen to get better tyres on mine even if it's used by my partner for the daily commute. They've stupidly got Turanzas on mine and I'd rather have something like Michelin PSS for some better grip.
Adrenalin Potenzas (what I had on my 130i) could be a good deal at $300 each if the Michelins don't meet my budget and Bridgestone usually have deals...

Was a good deal going with the Buy 1 get 1 half price. I got a set too but @ $260. Well worth it.
Where did you guys get these deals from?
Tyretech in Glenfield.
great prices.
apply to 225/40 too ?
Think the 225 were $285 each.
Also pretty sure that the deal ended at the end of September.
