Title: Heater Core Sealants and Parts needed ?

Just started doing my heater core replacement this afternoon on my 97 Audi a6 c4, got as fair as been able to remove the ducts. What parts and sealants do i need?, only have the heater core atm

Once you have pulled it all to bits you will find out what you need.
You will probably just be able to use some adhesive foam stuff and maybe just selastic or something.
Be careful to not use a stinky silicon or something.
They have some foam stuff that falls to bits in m3s that directs the air. the air goes everywhere once they do that.

Thanks for that, finally got it out this afternoon. Man the heater box was stuck in well, ended up spraying De-solvit around the seal, and leaving it for a hour. All the foam had fallen to pieces. Hopefully get it all back together tomorrow.

Finally got heater box back in today, just needed heater core and foam replaced, all the motors were fine. At least i had some help this morning :P
