Fully agree, I don't really think any brands in NZ really promote their micro cars at all though, replace Citigo with Picanto, Celerio, Panda, Mirage etc and your statement would ring just as true.
Kind of sad in a sense, because I quite like the simplicity of micro cars. They really raise the question of how much car we actually need for the urban Monday-Friday commute.

Agree completely, this size vehicle is perfect for 98% of my motoring.
Polo was quite a handy size but each new version is bigger and bigger.
I have quite a narrow driveway so this also influences my choices
