Title: Head Unit in A3
Post by: neilc on January 02, 2005, 10:49:26 PM
Hi All,

We after three long days, I have almost complted my Stereo installation in the A3... Man what a nightmare of a car to work on....

I have one question, does anyone know where I can buy the correct facia to allow the replacement headunit to fill up the old space ? I purchased a AU2300B adapter from www.schosche.com, but it doesnt seem to fit (for a 96+ Audi). My Audi is a 98, so should of worked.. but alas.

Has anyone installed aftermarket I.C.E, what were your experiences..

Cheers.

Neil

About to go down that route myself and get a Blaupunkt into the dash of my A4. Tired of having to add 14.2 or whatever to the frequency when I'm using the radio.

Might be a bit to ship, but www.crutchfield.com is a good resource for car audio bits and pieces. Or used to be anyway!
