Hi there
Quite new here sorry for the abrupt question

Just wanted to know of anyone's had any luck with opening and sealing up the ECU or tcu or tcm which ever it's called its attached to the back of the mechatronic unit was leaking oil out the pins of the connector so pulled it out to find it had a crack in the cover of the control unit want to open it clean it out and reseal it but not sure what to seal it with any ideas?? Don't know if I would chance opening it up but if you want to seal it then die grinding a v in the crack and filling it with JB weld will stop the leak.
JB weld will handle the heat of the oil.
Suppose you could open it up and use JB weld to re seal it. If its leaking out of the connector its kind of terminal anyway.

Oil in the mechatronic will forever give you issues even after you think youve fixed it.
Youre better off getting one off a wrecked car and coding it.
