Well for starters, I got rid of the credit card black hole -woohoo!! so now.... Do the rear subframe/wishbone bushes, top mounts and fit the Billies. Then new fuel lines, and then new brakes all round so I don't drive into the pits with so much smoke following me around after following Jem around.

Engine rebuild - new heads and inlet manifolds should be here around February.
I am seriously thinking about gutting it, selling off the interior, removing all creature comforts (that would be carpet), putting two seats back into it, and possibly going the rollcage and harness bit.
I also need some decent tyres, and work on making it go around corners.
Little bit of rust to remove
Rewire engine bay.
Move coil and CDI to the rear firewall.
Install remote oil cooler and plumbing.
Goal is to make it do 13 second 1/4 miles this year.

Volkswagen 63 Beetle - Get the rust removed- Continue Lubericating and Greasing so that it doesn't fall to bits (and keep it on the road) and stuff some rags in holes to reduce the draught  ;D

good idea! manual's are so much more fun.

I've found a white 16v that only has 106000kms on clock! for sale only $ 1800. apparently the odometers a bit broken tho'- no suprises
if it wasnt to expensive to fix i'd love to sell my 8v for it as it's a beaut car ;D.
