Title: Mk5 Steering Rack
Post by: spudatron on September 19, 2019, 03:39:22 PM
My power steering has stopped working in my 2009 GTI Pirelli. The quote from Tristram VW for a new steering rack is about $3500. Realistically, are there any alternatives?

I found a place that quoted $1800 for second hand part. Just weighing up a 3 months part-only warranty for second hand Vs 2 years part-only warranty for new.
