Title: Golf MK7 TSI DRL
Post by: nikhilg12 on April 01, 2021, 06:11:42 PM
I just picked up a 2013 MK7 TSI Highline Japanese Import model. Now I understand that in Japan it is not regulated by Government to have Daytime running lights on cars, however I know the MK7 Golf has this feature, mine has the L shaped borders which can have the DRL function in it, however how do I turn this feature on? It's not there in the menu.

Do I need to have OBD11 installed to unlock this feature? Can it be done without it?

If it's only activated by ODB11, can someone point out to me where I can get from? Im in Auckland.

Any help on this is much appreciated :)

I've got a vcds if you want to code the DRL settings and/or display settings on the infortainment system .
Have mine to only turn on when park brake disengaged.
