I had one come loose and it was a bugger to track down the noise.

Cheers. I found out the hard way about that one a few years ago. Alas it's not that.

Also, things have returned to normal: ie crap.
The low intermittent boost problems have returned and I've found oil leaking down the electrical connector from the diverter valve. I've removed the diverter valve and there is oil inside and a small pool of oil inside the cavity in the turbo which it bolts into.

Been doing a little research now and most posts refer to bad PCV valves.
I have replaced front and rear PCV valves recently including gaskets so I doubt these are already a problem.

Was wondering now if my turbo could be leaking oil into the diverter valve.

I'll have a look to see when and which PCV parts I installed and update.

Those Audi Quattro Ronals look fantastic, always loved that drooping spoiler of the b3's too

Hours upon hours of disassembly, cleaning and sanding. Paint prep is one DIY I don't know if I'll do again. Some shots I remembered to get as I went.

The nardo grey looks good imo and I'll be happy to see it all done. Used the engine stand creatively for the doors, as I heard it's best to paint at the angle they'll sit on the car.

Have been removing and disassembling doors boot and removable panels for a full respray, but I'll probably just paint as deep as the jams and not the engine bay at this stage on the body.

Nah this one's not that. It's a fault with the automatic lights. I have been reading and it seems its the sensor near the rain sensor somewhere on the dash (probably near the rearview mirror)

Sounds like "headlight range control fault". I had this on my DTM a while back and it was the range control sensor mounted on the rear suspension of the car, this controls the up / down movement of your xenon's according to car rear end load so as not to blind oncoming traffic.

Mine's part number is 8E0 907 503. Yours might be same part number.

Agents wanted $900 for this little gem, but SD european has them for $185 incl GST.

Probably a case of most people with MK7s don't log into old school vask.

Best checking the facebook version of vask or asking an overseas forum.
