Post by: nzant008 on October 30, 2017, 11:19:13 PM
Hi
Any remove the air con system from an A4 B?
I was wondering whether the aluminum pipes along the firewall are detachable or do you have to just cut them?

I don't normally use the air con unless I am in gridlock.

I need to get rid of the ally pipes to fit the bracked to retrofit a strut brace factory strut brace.

Yup that's the conversion I want to fit.
I haven't heard you could lift the lower pipe, but I will give it a try before I remove the system.

Air con is nice to have when you need it! > ;D
