I know what I've spent on it since bringing it to NZ in 2005. Including service parts and everything it's more than the new price of the car.

2013 Yeti 2.0 TDI (103Kw variant)

Only purchased 3 weeks ago so no good photos of it yet.  Hoping to do some back country touring in the fullness of time, so hopefully get some goo photos then.

so far have had towbar fitted and added front and rear mud flaps.

Latest acquisition to the fleet is a 2009 Superb 2.0 TDI.

Went out shopping for an Octavia and stumbled upon this, for a few dollars more.

Both in daily service now, with the CitiGolf tucked away in the garage until I can be bothered attacking some rust.

You need to mount the rear number plate higher.

I fixed it lol, stupid mounting points required me to drill new holes in the plate

I traded the Superb a couple of weeks back, as I'd spied an Octavia 3 RS TDi wagon that would be a better stable-mate for the Fabia.

New shopping basket arrival
I thought the 17 inch wheels and 215/40's were a bit of overkill but after driving it back to New Plymouth from Hamilton I am liking them very much

Thanks; quite surprised, it exceeded my expectations, nice 'planted' feel and for 999cc had more performance than I ever expected.

They're quite surprising - I spent a day in a 1.2 a few weeks back and thought I'd hate it after the full-fat diesels.  Far from it though, I was grinning like a mad man after a few minutes and was almost sad to have to hand it back.

Has the little triple got that three cylinder burble?

Yes, the sound is a bit 'warbley'
I can endorse the grin factor, very nice feel

I got myself a new ride.  :)
I'm super impressed with how good these are to drive. I've only had it for a few days, but taking it for a road trip this weekend.

It's a 2014 Octavia RS 2.0 TSI DSG. It's only done about 55,000km

Anyone else got something similar on here?

yep got a white one in manual :)
they awesome cars and with some mods they really shine. First thing though is get a stiffer rear sway bar. car will handle alot better around bends and will feel more like a hatch than a wagon.

i purchased directly from 034 Motorsport. i think from memory it was $350 or something years ago during their black friday sale. you can wait for a sale or you can buy from alittletuningco which are NZ based and offers afterpay.
