Title: Intercdooler hitting pulleys
Post by: SimonS2 on January 31, 2005, 10:51:15 AM
One last question following yesterday's disassembly: the back of my intercooler shows deep marks where engine pulleys have been bashed into the IC. Any good ideas on how to stop the IC flexing so much when the front bumper hits things?

Thanks,

Simon

The barcket that holds the IC is pretty tiny and lets it flex back and forwards a lot, even with everything tightened down: I guess that prevents breaking the IC itself, but not goot that it bashes the pulleys.
