Problem with brakes, drive carefully to workshop.
I bought a remanufactured ABS controller, hill hold and all that stuff (1K0614517BE now a 1K0907379CE after a recall a couple years ago ), and now my problem is back.
Maybe there is an issue with the ABS controller, maybe with the ECU. It went away and came back, I am thinking electrical issues.
Is there any one in Auckland that could have a good shot at helping me with this?
Maybe I need to exercise the warranty in the remanufactured ABS controller, but that may not help.

Anyone have some one to recommend to try to solve ABS controller issues?

Get it scanned - it could be one of many,many problems. There are a LOT of possible error codes.

So I still have issues, the ABS controller scans ok and looks to be getting all of the inputs correctly, but still alerts in the car.
I am wondering if I can replace it with a new 1k0907379cc controller I have found.
Also wondering what else is in the path that may be causing the error, the ECU, the instrument cluster?
I have already put in a supposedly remanufactured ABS unit with no improvement.
