Skoda Auto manufactures its millionth vehicle in Vrchlab? since its merger with Volkswagen
The millionth Skoda vehicle was manufactured today in the Vrchlab? plant of the largest Czech car manufacturer since 1991, when the company was merged with the Volkswagen Group. The vehicle was the Skoda Octavia Combi in the Elegance version with a 2.0 TDI DPF engine for a Germany customer.

The plant at Vrchlab? was founded one hundred years ago this year. Since 1991 it has produced the following models: the Favorit, Forman, Felicia, Felicia Combi, Van Plus, Pick-up Fun, Fabia Sedan, Octavia and first generation Octavia Combi. At present the factory is producing the Octavia Tour, Octavia Tour Combi, Octavia and Octavia Combi.

?Vehicles have been produced in Vrchlab? for one hundred years, and this means we have extensive experience and tradition, on which we intend to continue building,? said Horst M?hl, member of the Board of Directors of Skoda Auto responsible for production.
