What is the best tape to use for mounting rego plates?
I am a not entirely trusting of double sided tape after being jolted from my slumbers earlier in the week when a mirror fell off the wall and broke after the tape holding it decided to 'let go' at 10.45pm.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hey Brian,
I use 3M body moulding tape. Available from Bunnings.
Use the Extreme one.
I have done this on my Golf plates and they aren't coming off without a fight.
Make sure to thoroughly clean the surfaces with IPA or similar.

Well, I installed as per Glen's instructions plus 2 extra strips at the ends where there was a large flat  area (Euro plate) before the lettering began and it hasn't fallen off overnight.
