Revenue gathering road safety vehicles

Received a warning from NZTA yesterday. Apparently I was doing 56 in a 50 zone in East Tamaki a couple of weeks ago:

I remember seeing the vehicle too. Fairly certain he overtook me along that specific road.

The particular road has allegedly seen two 'serious crashes' in the last 20 years. Both late at night, both including teenagers.
So is the middle of the day the correct slot to be targeting if safety was forefront?

I guess it's a new way of money-grabbing since they are doing the trailers too.

Wonder how long before the trailers "start disappearing"
