Hi everyone,

My name is Scott, this is my first post here - I dont own an Audi (yet).
I am getting married early next year, and both myself and the better half are really keen on having a couple of Audi's as wedding cars. I've contacted all the dealers here in CHC without much luck.. so I thought I'd try my luck here.

Ideally we'd love a couple of RS4's, but I'm guessing thats gonna be quite hard to achieve. So we are open to anything really.

Obviously we'd pay good money for the service.

If anyone is interested, or knows someone that might be interested, please either reply or private message me we'll see what happens.

Thanks
Scott.

Congrats! hope somebody can help you out for your special day, would be awesome to see some nice RS4's with wedding ribbons going down the road.

Yeah, bit of a shame really, I'm happy to participate but the people looking have been in Christchurch or Wellington, and I'm in Auckland.

Sorry, good luck though and enjoy the day. The day will go really fast and regardless of all the jibes, it will be one of the best days of your life.

try the dealers again - it's free publicity for them!

a bunch of A8/S8's would be awesome!

Dealers dont normally do that for the public. Something to do with insurance issue is part of it, then there is how they are treated . . .

Yeah, cos thats what a commission based sales person wants to do instead of making money. . . There is nothing in it for a car dealer, fact. Car yards are there to sell cars not cater for wedding parties.
You wouldnt believe the muppets that go onto Dads yard wanting cars for weddings, most of them what them for free because its "good exposure" Really? Is the car sign written? No, when how could it be go exposure?

I once made enquiries re Range Rovers for wedding cars. Was told by the dealer that their insurance did not cover that.

surely someone specialises in renting out 'prestige' modern cars - not your usual old Rolls or Bentley wedding cars ?

Hey Scott, congrats on the upcoming wedding!

I'm not an Audi owner either, but as someone who works in the wedding industry here in NZ, I've seen a few couples get creative when sourcing unique cars like RS models. One option that sometimes works is reaching out to local Audi enthusiast clubs or forums—there are a few NZ-based Facebook groups where members are often open to showcasing their cars for special occasions (especially if it's a paid gig).

Also, if you haven't already, you might try platforms like bookAclassic or private car hire websites—some owners list premium cars for one-off rentals like weddings.

I'm a wedding photographer based in Wellington, but I often shoot weddings in Christchurch and have seen a few RS models at events—so they're definitely out there! Hope you find the perfect match for your day.

All the best with the planning!
