The piano black trim on the doors was looking a bit sad. Trim restorer wasn't going to work due to it being gloss black.

5 minute hand polish later (literally car polish) Wallaaaaaah!

Great job !

What did you use ?

Just some Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (Compound and polish in one) the one with the red car on the bottle.

Great job so far Mitch!

At this rate, this car might become tidier than your MK4

Well this chapter has come to a close. Said goodbye to DUBV6 last week. Was great trusty steed that will be missed, but I needed to try something different.

I confirmed for myself that while the Mk5 R32 is objectively a better "car" the Mk4 R32 is just a more pure and engaging experience.

Unfortunately it successor isn't valid for this forum!

That doesn't mean we don't want to know what it is though!  ;)

Sad day. Was doing my Carjam checks on my former alumni as I do from time to time. Only to find DUBV6 has been written off by insurer as of 17/09/2024.

:(

Last pic I have from the night of pickup.

I did see it in the damaged Auctions, Actually... now you mention it! :(

I can't quite remember what happened to it though  :(
