Had anyone experienced the EPC light/limp home mode fault on the 1.2TSI?

We've swapped the waste gate actuator and the fault went a way and then came back after 6 months.  Apparently there was a  service bulletin on this but I can't find any info on it.

Looking for any advice on a repair please!

the 1.2 and 1.4tdi are known for failing actuators. However, often goes hand in hand with the actual wastegate now being loose or damaged as well. So installing another second-hand unit could simply end up with the exact same results.

Ideally, you want to install a new actuator and test the wastegate to be free from damage. Otherwise, you'll need to replace the turbo and actuator for a cure. How long, depends if you installed a new or secondhand unit to your vehicle at the time of replacement.
